I earned my PhD in Clinical Science from the University of California, Berkeley—one of the nation’s leading programs in clinical psychology—where I trained with leading experts and conducted research on emotional connection in relationships across the lifespan: what brings us closer, and what pushes us apart. I completed my predoctoral internship at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and my postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System as their Advanced Mental Health Interdisciplinary Fellow, where I received advanced training in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, trauma, and related concerns.
